Dr. Thomas Kizy is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-focused care for individuals and families throughout every stage of life. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine Residency abroad, where he gained diverse clinical experience caring for patients in a variety of cultural and healthcare settings. This global perspective continues to shape his approach to medicine—emphasizing empathy, prevention, and a deep respect for every patient’s unique background and needs.
With years of experience in primary care, Dr. Kizy specializes in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, women’s health, and wellness education. His approachable style and commitment to building long-term relationships have made him a trusted physician in the Algonac community and beyond.

New Patient Information
Welcome to Algonac Family Practice! We’re honored that you’ve chosen us for your family’s healthcare needs. To help make your first visit as smooth as possible, we encourage new patients to complete our intake forms in advance and bring a valid photo ID, insurance card, and a list of current medications. If you’re transferring from another provider, please let us know—we can help coordinate your medical record transfer.
